Jimmy and I have always shared a special bond as cousins. February 14 is the day that both of us celebrated our birthdays. I remember many phone calls in which Jimmy and I teased each other about our ages. I will always think of Jimmy on February 14th. My deepest love and sympathy to Almeda and the family. Jimmy and I as cousins shared a very special bond. We shared the same birthday of February 14. I can remember many birthdays when Jimmy would call me and we would tease each other about getting older. I will miss Jimmy very much and will always think of him on February 14th. My deepest love and sympathy to Almeda and family.

I am so sorry to hear about Jimmy. I can't believe that he is gone. I have wonderful memories of when we were all children and we be at Mama and Papa's and Jimmy, because he was the oldest grandchild, would have to take all of us to Reyno to see a John Wayne movie. In the last couple of years I haven't gotten to see much of Jimmy, but I will always have a special place in my heart for him. I will miss him dearly. My sincere condolences to the family, Patti (Wangler) Sellers

So sorry that we missed the Memorial Service, we did not get the details in time to attend. We will really miss Jimmy. I have so many fond memories of Jimmy, especially when he was a baby and he and his mom lived with us while his dad was away at war. And then later the family Sunday dinners at Ma Ma and Papa's in Reyno. We send our love to the whole family. Love, Aunt Jean and Uncle Joe

Jimmy was my cousin and my friend... we grew up together and I will never ever forget the good times that we had together. He had a special place in my heart. Our grandparents home was always open to all of us and we were there together often. Jim was a wonderful little boy who grew up to be a very wonderful man. Even though I did not see him often I will miss him every day.And if there is truly someone waiting on the other side to greet us when we arrive I know that Papa Parker was there to welcome Jimmy home with open arms. With Much Love and sincere sympathy to Almeda and all of their family

Words cannot express how much this man will be missed...He touched so many lives in so many ways. To his wife and children he was a loving husband & father who will only be missed more & more with each passing day...to his granchildren he was so much more than just a grandpa...He was a kind, caring listener of tall tales & fish stories,he was a teacher of so many things,he was a great friend,a healer & was always in the kitchen cooking something you couldn't wait to eat. His grandchildren will forever mourn the loss of their beloved "PAPA" & his infinite wisdom...The community has also lost a great advocate for the developementally disabled,as well as a wonderful foster parent who was always willing to open his home to a child in need. I,myself, will forever mourn the loss of a father in law who was much more than that...he was the closest thing to a father that I've ever known. I'll love and miss you always Papa... "Miss Caroline"

I can only say that Jim did so many kind things for human kind that I'm sure there were things on his list he never got to. He was one of a kind, and my children and I will remember him always.
