Johnny Siegler, 87, of St. Louis, Missouri, died Saturday, August 15, 2009, at the Cori Manor in St. Louis.
Mr. Siegler, son of the late Joe and Clara (Brooks) Siegler, was born April 5, 1922, in Doniphan, Missouri. He was a farmer and enjoyed gardening.
On October 26, 1966, he married Janie Burns and she survives. Also surviving are one daughter, Carol Haven of Arnold, Missouri, and four sons, Gordon Siegler of Arnold, Missouri, Johnny Siegler, Jr. of Imperial, Missouri, Terry Siegler of Doniphan and Douglas Siegler of Puxico, Missouri; eight grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and one sister, Verneal Travis of Memphis, Tennessee.
Mr. Siegler was preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation will be Monday, August 17, 2009, from 5 - 8 p.m. at the Edwards Funeral Home in Doniphan. The funeral service will begin Tuesday, August 18, 2009, at 2:00 p.m. at the Edwards Funeral Home Chapel in Doniphan with burial to follow in Brooks Cemetery.
