Wilma Jessie Ward, 88-year-old resident of Fairdealing, MO died Friday, May 7, 2010 at the Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center.
Mrs. Ward was born December 13, 1921 in Naylor, MO. She was a member of the Doniphan Church of Christ and enjoyed sewing, quilting, flower gardens, and baking.
On July 18, 1942 in Poplar Bluff, MO she was married to Lloyd A. Ward. He survives.
Also surviving is one daughter, Jean Campbell and her husband Bruce Campbell of Golden, CO; one brother Udie C. Huson of St. Louis, MO; and one granddaughter Ginny Campbell of Denver, CO.
Mrs. Ward was preceded in death by her parents Udie and Fern Turner Huson; brothers, Marvin, Bob, Clete, and Wesley "Jack" Huson; and sisters Genevieve Lafferty, Shirley Huson, and Vana Sheridan.
Funeral services for Mrs. Ward will be held at 11:00 A.M., Monday, May 10, 2010 at the Edwards Funeral Home Chapel with Steve Sanders officiating. Visiting will begin at 9:00 A.M. Monday morning. Burial will be in the Ward Cemetery in Fairdealing.
