Max Edward Redus, 57, of Maynard, Arkansas, died Friday May 21, 2010, in Corning, AR.
Mr. Redus was born September 2, 1952, inPocahontas, Arkansas, to the late Willie "Bill" and Ora (Griffin) Redus. He worked in the sawmill industry. Mr. Redus served in the U.S. Army.
On May 20, 2005, he was married to Kathy Jinright in Corning, Arkansas. She survives.
He is survived by nine children Marla Beck, Brad Redus & Melissa Lane all of Gatewood, Jason Redus, Kendall Redus, Tim Jinright, Lloyd Hodge, Axie Oetjen all of Pocahontas, and Duane Townsend of Maynard, three brothers Billy Redus of Maynard, Dwight Redus and Delane Redus both of Pocahontas, four sisters Mary Hinkle of Truman Leveda McCamey and Jean Watson both of Pochantas, and Beverly Crawford from Alton.
Mr. Redus was preceded in death by his parents, and one son-in-law Chris Beck.
Visitation will be Monday morning, May 24, 2010, at 9 a.m. at the Edwards Funeral Home in Doniphan. Graveside services will take place Monday 24, 2010, at 11:00 a.m. at New Home Cemetery, with full military honors.
