Thomas L. Carmickle, Jr., 47, of Maynard, Arkansas, died Friday, August 6, 2010, in Arkansas.
Mr. Carmickle, son of Thomas L. Sr. and Connie (Boyles) Carmickle of Maynard, was born June 1, 1963, in Doniphan, Missouri. He had been employed as a welder at Contech Corporation in Walnut Ridge, Arkansas, for over 20 years. Mr. Carmickle attended Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church and enjoyed going to auctions and yardsales. He was an avid hunter and fisherman.
He was married to Sarah Louise (Hudson) on May 2, 2008, in Doniphan, Missouri. She survives.
Also surviving are one daughter; Teala Carmickle and fiance, Kenny, of Walnut Ridge, Arkansas; stepson Jeremy McLaughlin of Walnut Ridge, Arkansas; sister Donna (and James) O'Dell of Maynard, Arkansas; brother David (and Donna) Carmickle of Success, Arkansas; Aunt Nancy Boyles of Doniphan; Uncle Larry (and Jenny) Boyles of Gatewood, Missouri; nephew Brian O'Dell of Maynard, Arkansas; and niece Amanda O'Dell of Maynard, Arkansas.
Visitation will begin Tuesday August 10, 2010, at noon with the funeral service following at 2:00 P.M. with Brother Mike Bradley officiating. Burial will take place at Pittman Cemetery.
A Memorial Tree was planted for Jr.
