Lane was born in Torrance, California. 10-10-1940.
He worked as A Tool and Die Engineer. He was the talented Machinest behind many inventions. In the 1960 1970 Era. He worked for Pike Tool and Die in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Lane was a talented Charcoal Artist. He took an idea and would produce it to reality.
We (Betty) and Lane moved to Hayden, Idaho. Where He continued to create many inventions.
Lane was commissioned by Company's. We went to 13 different States and Companies to do Speciality Jobs.
Lane also Hunted with The Brent Hendricks Family And The Burl Mitchell Families in Idaho. He was able to make the trip to Idaho to visit Burl and Dot while his health was good.
Lane was Liked by everyone He met.
ONE GOOD STORY:
We had just moved to Coeur d'Alene 1973. I was working at Safeway and Lane was ay Gibbs Tavern. A Young man, Ron Schaffer walked in met Lane saying someone stole his workbooks. Lane went to his pickup and gave Ron a pair of his boots.
Ron became One of our Special Friends
