Lloyd "Red" Wood, 69, of Doniphan, Missouri, died Thursday, October 21, 2010, at his residence.
Mr. Wood, son of Ernest "Bully" and Ada (Fern) Wood, was born February 21, 1941, in Old Greenville, Missouri. He was self-employed in construction. Mr. Wood enjoyed fishing, hunting and raising cattle. An avid guitar player, he liked playing music.
Surviving are two sons; Lloyd "Rusty" Wood and Earnest Wood, both of Doniphan; two daughters, Deanna "Sandy" Lambert of Anchorage, Alaska, and Shaunte Donnell of Doniphan; seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; one sister, Freda Cupp; and one brother, Earnest Wood, Jr.
He was preceded in death by his parents and several brothers and sisters.
Visitation will be Monday evening, October 25, 2010, from 5 - 8 p.m. at the Edwards Funeral Home in Doniphan. A graveside service will take place Tuesday afternoon, October 26, 2010, at 1:00 p.m. at the Stephens Cemetery in Greenville.
