Charlotte Ann Ormsby, 68, departed this life Saturday morning, July 18, 2015, at her residence in rural Doniphan, Missouri.
Mrs. Ormsby, daughter of Raymond and Allie Lee (Autry) Garrett, was born March 17, 1947, in Ridgely, Tennessee. She was a homemaker and enjoyed studying her Bible and taking care of her children and grandchildren. Mrs. Ormsby was a member of the Current River Baptist Church and actively participated in a variety of church activities.
On September 7, 1966, she was married to Kenneth Ormsby in St. Louis, Missouri, and he survives.
Also surviving are one son, Kenny Ray (Angie) Ormsby of Doniphan; three daughters, Sherry Lynn (Paul) Millidge of Fenton, Missouri, and Brenda Lee (Joedy) Roam and Katrina Ann (Bob) Cape, both of Doniphan; her mother, Allie Lee Garrett of Doniphan; two brothers, John (Tommye) Garrett and Gary (Delores) Garrett, both of Doniphan; one sister, Judy (Martin) Byerly of Lewisville, Texas; twelve grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews whom she dearly loved.
She was preceded in death by her father, Raymond Garrett, and one grandson, Tyler Beline.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, July 20, 2015, at 2:00 p.m. at the Amity Cemetery near Doniphan with Pastor Todd Taylor officiating.
