Obituary of Charles Cobb

Charles Wayne Cobb, 49, of Doniphan, Missouri, died Friday, May 13, 2011, at Riverton, Missouri. Mr. Cobb, son of Charles Cecil and Dorothy Marie (Horton) Cobb, was born August 12, 1961, in Poplar Bluff, Missouri. He was a vulcanizer with Gates Rubber Company. Mr. Cobb enjoyed hunting, fishing, riding his ATV and woodworking with cedar furniture. He was of the Baptist faith. He was married to Karen Cobb, who survives. Surviving also are three children: Chad Wayne Cobb, James Everett Cobb and Brittany Deanne Cobb, all of Doniphan; two step-children, Dale Ryans of Doniphan and Lisa Morrow of Kennett, MO; two sisters, Judy Ackman (and Douglas) and Janet Palmer (and Reese), both of Essex, Missouri; one brother, R. C. Cobb (and Wanda) of Wappapello, Missouri; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Jr. Cobb. Visitation will be held Tuesday evening, May 17, 2011, from 5 - 8 p.m. in the Edwards Funeral Home in Doniphan. The funeral service will take place on Wednesday morning, May 18, 2011, at 10:00 a.m. in the Edwards Funeral Home chapel with Brother Charles Carr officiating. A graveside service will be at 2:00 p.m. at the Dexter Cemetery in Dexter, Missouri.
