Daniel Ray Crader, 63, of Fairdealing, Missouri, passed away Friday, August 21, 2015, at his home in rural Ripley County.
Mr. Crader, son of Edward Crader and Maria Pauline (Gomez-Aldecoa) Crader, was born December 31, 1951, in Oak Park, Illinois. He had been a well driller. Mr. Crader loved to work on cars, watch movies and all sports, especially football. He was of the Catholic faith. Mr. Crader was a veteran of the U. S. Marines and had served during the Vietnam War.
On March 5, 1982, he was married to Laurie Shreves in Doniphan and she survives.
Also surviving are his mother, Maria Pauline (and Ernst) Koller of Chicago, Illinois; 7 children, Jason Crader, Edward Crader and Adam Crader, all of Doniphan, Daniel T. Crader of Dalton, Georgia, Sonja Foster of Sacramento, California, Trina Davis of Chicago, Illinois, and Amy Crader Mattingly of Jonesboro, Arkansas; 2 sisters, Linda Crader of Chicago, Illinois, and Gina Crader of Tucson, Arizona; 3 brothers, Richard Crader of Marble Hill, Missouri, Robert Crader of Hope, Idaho, and Timothy Crader of Forrest City, Arkansas; 12 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father, one son, Jeffrey Crader and 2 brothers, Steven Crader and Edward Crader.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, August 25, 2015, from 10:00 a.m. until noon at the Edwards Funeral Home in Doniphan. A graveside service will follow at 2:00 p.m. in the Crader Family Cemetery in Marble Hill, Missouri.
