Mary Rutledge, 61, of Doniphan, Missouri, died Thursday, April 16, 2009, at her residence in Doniphan.
Mrs. Rutledge was born March 31, 1948, in St. Louis, Missouri to the late Harry and Ruth (Newman) Meyer. She worked at Vitronic and was a store clerk. Mrs. Rutledge enjoyed ceramics, painting and entering items in the County Fair.
On April 13, 1966, she was married to Ron Rutledge in Edwardsville, Illinois. He survives.
Also surviving are four children; Tammy Richardson of Gatewood, Missouri, and Kathy Pudivitr, Tim Rutledge and Ronald "Eddie" Rutledge, all of Doniphan; two sisters, Ruthann Boyd and Barbara Walter, both of St. John, Missouri; twelve grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be Wednesday, April 22, 2009, from 12:00 - 2:00 p.m. at the Edwards Funeral Home in Doniphan. The funeral service will follow at 2:00 p.m. with Brother Jimmy Gilbert officiating. Burial will be in the Lone Star Cemetery.
