Jerrie Emma Joplin, 65, of Grandin died Friday, May 15, 2009, her residence in Grandin. Mrs. Joplin was born November 29, 1943 in St. Louis. to the late Jean & Bessie (Estes) Wynn. She was a Homemaker, a member of the Good Hope General Baptist Church. She was married to Francis Morgan Joplin who preceded her in death September 1970. Survivors include two sons; Morgan Lee Joplin of Piedmont and Pete Dale Joplin of Grandin & two daughters Teana Marie Trotter of Grandin and Julie Lynn Tanksley of Grandin. eight grandchildren, three great-grandchildren. Three sisters Barbara Milburn of Fairdealing, Elaine Bishop of Grandin and Sandra Collins of Ellisnore. A very special friend Carl Huddleston. She was preceded in death by her parents; three sisters Lucy Eisenbeis, Mary Lou Allen & Betty June Echueckerd. Visitation will be from 5-8 PM. Sunday May 17, 2009 at Edwards Funeral Home in Doniphan. The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Monday May 18, 2009 at the funeral home. Burial will be at Macedonia Cemetery.
