Lorene Kubite, 77, of Gatewood, Missouri, died Sunday, May 17, 2009, at her residence.
Mrs. Kubite, daughter of the late Claudia and Cora (French) Austill, was born August 24, 1931, in Octa, Missouri. She was retired from Vitronic Manufacturing.
She was first married to Roy Simon Russell on September 27, 1952, in St. Francis, Arkansas. He preceded her in death November 16, 1992. On April 30, 1994, she was married to Robert C. Kubite in Doniphan, Missouri, and he passed away November 17, 2000.
Surviving are two sons, Stephen Russell of Columbus, Indiana, and Michael Russell of Athens, Tennessee, and one sister, Doris Smith of Barnhart, Missouri.
Besides her husbands and parents, she was preceded in death by five brothers and one sister.
Visitation for Mrs. Kubite will be Monday evening, May 18, 2009, from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. at the Edwards Funeral Home in Doniphan. The funeral service will be Tuesday morning, May 19, 2009, at 10:00 a.m. in the funeral home chapel with Brother Curtis Crowley officiating. Burial will follow in the Malden Memorial Parks Cemetery in Malden, Missouri.
