Obituary of Ronald Alan Warren

Ronald Alan “Ron” Warren, 58, of Ellsinore, Missouri, passed away September 1, 2015, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau, Missouri.
Mr. Warren, son of William Lee and Ella Winona (Kassinger) Warren, was born October 14, 1956, in Cahokia, Illinois. He had been employed in housekeeping at the John J. Pershing VA Medical Center. Mr. Warren was a veteran of the U. S. Army and had previously attended His Place Church.
On April 17, 2012, he was married to Violet Fretueg and she survives.
Also surviving are one son, Anthony Gower of Ellsinore; 5 sisters, Linda (Jim) Keel of Doniphan, Missouri, Georgia Gayle (Fred) Turner of Canton, Georgia, Pamela (Myron) Yoder of Tuttle, Oklahoma, Paula (Joon) Chung of Kansas City, Missouri, and Jackie (Bill Shelton) Malkawski of Ironton, Missouri; 1 brother, Billy Warren of Doniphan; 1 granddaughter, Nevaeh Gower; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, 1 sister-in-law, Debbie Warren and 2 brothers, Jerome and Wendell Warren.
Visitation will take place Thursday evening, September 3, 2015, from 5 – 8 p.m. at the Edwards Funeral Home in Doniphan. The funeral service will follow Friday afternoon, September 4, 2015, at 1:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Brother Kent Kassinger officiating. Burial will be in the Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield, Missouri, at 3:00 p.m.
