Leonard Robert Kohlschmidt, Jr., 78, of Naylor, Missouri, passed away Saturday, September 26, 2015, at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center in Poplar Bluff, Missouri.
Mr. Kohlschmidt, son of Leonard Robert and Franice (Sapp) Kohlschmidt, Sr., was born December 22, 1936, in Powell, Wyoming. He was retired with the United States Marines. Mr. Kohlschmidt enjoyed reading books.
On April 15, 1994, he was married to Maria E. Martinez and she survives.
Also surviving are 2 sons, Leonard Kohlschmidt III of California and William Kohlschmidt of Doniphan;4 sisters, Pat Robbinson of Lake Stevens, LaBerta Carter of Vancouver, Washington, Leah Harnois of Sacremento, California, and Joy Burgess of Nevada; and one 1 brother, James Kohlschmidt of Vancouver, Washington.
He was preceded in death by his parents, 1 sister, Jackie Spry and 1 brother, James Kohlschmidt.
Graveside services will be held at Bloomfield Veterans Cemetery at a later date with full military honors.
