Herbert George “Sonny” Webb, 73, of Doniphan, Missouri, departed this life Tuesday, October 20, 2015, at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center in Poplar Bluff, Missouri.
Mr. Webb, son of Herbert and Georgia (Wynn) Webb, was born February 12, 1942, in Grandin, Missouri. He had been a miner in the lead industry. Mr. Webb enjoyed being with his family, especially his grandchildren, and was a member of the Grandin United Pentecostal Church.
On January 11, 1959, he was married to Glenda Epperson in Ellsinore, Missouri, and she survives.
Also surviving are two sons, William H. (and Tammy) Webb of Doniphan and Ronald (and Joyce) Webb of Grandin; one sister, Anita Quinton of Grandin; two grandchildren, Jennifer (and Billy) Sheridan and Ronald Webb, Jr.; and six great-grandchildren, William, Erica, Lane, Lester, Mark and Kenny.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one son, Terry Webb.
Visitation will begin Friday morning, October 23, 2015, at 11:00 a.m. at the Edwards Funeral Home in Doniphan. The funeral service will follow at 1:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Brother Jim Johnson officiating. Burial will be in the McRone Cemetery in Grandin.
