Melinda Carol McClain, 63, of Doniphan, Missouri, passed away Saturday, October 24, 2015, at Southeast Health of Ripley County, Missouri.
Mrs. McClain, daughter of Clyde and Margaret Beaudrie, was born June 19, 1952, in Detroit, Michigan. She had been a custodian in the public school system. Mrs. McClain loved horses and she enjoyed rehabilitating abused animals.
On August 9, 2001, she was married to David McClain in Livingston, Texas, and he survives.
Also surviving are one daughter-in-law, Lindsey Swiger of Michigan, one brother, Ken Beaudrie of Denver, Colorado, and one grandson, Aric Swiger of Michigan.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her son Richard Swiger, and one sister Evelyn Owens.
A private memorial service is planned.
