Dorothy Mae Hall, 94 year old resident of Doniphan, Missouri, departed this life Thursday, October 29, 2015, at the Westwood Hills Nursing Center in Poplar Bluff, Missouri. Mrs. Hall was born November 15, 1920 in Madison, Illinois, to the late William Franklin Crockett and Liza Jane (Rideout) Crockett. She was a member of the New Life Pentecostal Church. Mrs. Hall had served as a pastor’s wife at West Point Pentecostal Church, Mill Creek and Doniphan Pentecostal Church (New Life). She enjoyed her family, reading, listening to Christian programming, and in the eyes of her family, was a super mom and grandmother. On November 28, 1938, in Doniphan, she was married to Reverend Fendel Hall, who preceded her in death on July 18, 1988. Surviving are 4 daughters, Theresa Wooldridge and her husband John of Fairdealing, MO; Della Gentry and her husband Bobby of Harrisburg, Illinois; Connie Evans and her husband Ken of Doniphan; Elaine Meadors and her husband Dwayne of Doniphan; 2 sons, Lendel Hall and his wife Linda of Poplar Bluff; Ronnie Hall and his wife Erma of Poplar Bluff; 14 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren. Mrs. Hall was preceded in death by a sister Esther Frederick, and 2 brothers Leonard and Warren Crockett. Visitation for Mrs. Hall will take place Sunday evening, November 1, 2015, from 5 – 8 p.m. at New Life Pentecostal Church on Brooks Lane in Doniphan. The funeral service will be held Monday morning, November 2, 2015, at 10:00 a.m. at the church with Reverend Harold Sheppard officiating. Burial will be in the Doniphan City Cemetery.
