Frances Jane Sandy, 79, of Doniphan, Missouri, passed away Monday, November 16, 2015, at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center in Poplar Bluff, Missouri.
Mrs. Sandy, daughter of the late Ivan and Juanita F. (Dotson) Bailey, was born July 14, 1936, in Charleston, West Virginia. She had been a loving mother and enjoyed gardening, quilting and cooking. She also loved to teach.
On July 7, 1953, she was married to Carl Robert Sandy in Charleston, West Virginia, and he preceded her in death on September 24, 2006.
Surviving are 7 daughters: Brenda, Debbie, Patty, Dianna, Judy, Jennifer and Kelly; 3 sons, Carl Jr., David and Michael; 2 sisters, Dianna and Edith; and 24 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild.
She was also preceded in death by 3 siblings, Jim, Nancy and Charles.
A private service is being planned in the spring.
Any floral arrangements may be sent in her memory to the Colonial Home in Doniphan.
