Obituary of Bob Hallam

Bob Hallam, 70, of St. Peters, Missouri, died Saturday, July 16, 2011, at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Peters.
Mr. Hallam, son of Edgar Lee and Marie Hope (Mathis) Hallam, was born October 4, 1940, in Doniphan, Missouri. He had been employed in health and safety in the automotive industry. Mr. Hallam enjoyed hunting and four-wheeling, being with friends and floating on Current River. He was a veteran of the United States Navy.
He was married to Debbie(Ellsworth) Grelle on June 11, 2011, and she survives.
Also surviving are two sons; Jeffrey (and Jennifer) Hallam and Douglas (and Janet) Hallam; two step-children, Angelia Grelle and Robert Grelle; two grandchildren, Alexis Hallam and Emily Hallam; two brothers, Tommy Hallam and Teddy Hallam; and one sister, Sue Stewart.
Mr. Hallam was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Billie Joe Hallam.
Visitation for Mr. Hallam will be held Tuesday, July 19, 2011, from 4 - 8 p.m. at the Baue Funeral and Memorial Center at 3950 West Clay Street in St. Charles, Missouri. A second visitation will take place at the Edwards Funeral Home in Doniphan on Thursday, July 21, 2011, from 4 - 7 p.m. A funeral service will follow at 7:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Brother Larry Bashaw officiating.
Memorials may be made to the American Lung Association or American Cancer Society.
