Thomas Steven Reddish, 71, of Doniphan, MO passed away November 29th, 2015, at home surrounded by family.
Tom was born on September 06, 1944, to Bernice and Odell Reddish. He was raised in Miami, Florida, and at the age of 14 was hit by a drunken policeman, pronounced dead, placed in the morgue yet he survived. That was one of many occasions Tom had testimony of God’s tremendous grace to be alive all the years he was given.
Tom had very special talent in everything he took interest in and was a Master at all trades he took up. In his young adult years, he attended Aviation school, got his pilot’s license, trained and worked under a German engineer in Florida becoming a master tool and die maker. He attended Devry Tech for electronics, worked for Martin Marietta Corp. with engineers in the machine-ing dept. on building rockets and the walleye bomb, and worked for Scorro engineering building racecar cams for Nascar. He expanded his territory by purchasing a Semi-truck and became a truck driver then meeting the love of his life ‘Lucia’.
Tom married Lucia Robles Reddish his beautiful Mexican love in Elko, Nevada. They began a family and Tom embarked on many other business interests such as sawmilling, welding, owning Reddish Machine works in which he carried a government gauge code as a government defense plant even up to time of death. He did OTR truck driving & drive away, he was a water well-driller, telecommunications installer for high speed internet, as well as being a commercial fisherman. He enjoyed ministering to people especially with his singing. He loved the Savior Jesus Christ, and enjoyed meeting people, and sharing verses of encouragement. He was genuinely interested in helping people have a better life on earth, and hope of eternal life in Heaven. Tom was an extraordinary, intelligent person who lived an extraordinary life.
He is survived by his wife, Lucia and their six children. Steven (Angie) T. Reddish of Doniphan MO, Tammy (Jim) Shields of Poplar Bluff, MO, Esther Reddish of Floral City, FL, Anna (Mike) Schroeder of Webster, FL, Lilly Lewis, of MO, and Misty (Chad) Gibson of NC. He is also survived by 20+ grandchildren and one great grandchild.
