Dorothy Jean Jett, 80, of Doniphan, Missouri, passed away Wednesday, December 16, 2015, at Southeast Hospital in Cape Girardeau, Missouri.
Ms. Jett, daughter of Thomas and Thelma (Duckworth) Parker, was born September 7, 1935, in St. Louis, Missouri. She had been a seamstress. Ms. Jett liked playing small electronic games, reading and she especially enjoyed being with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Surviving are 6 children: Tony (Sharon) Jett and Donna Jean (Donnie) Taylor, both of Doniphan; Steven Jett, Patricia Jett and Robin (Mike) Bingham, all of Fairdealing, Missouri; and Lawrence (Rosemary) Jett of St. Louis; 2 brothers, Frankie Parker of Chesterfield, Missouri, and Glenn Parker of West Plains, Missouri; 11 grandchildren, Jamie, Lee, Cassandra, Scotty, Jett, Michael, Stephanie, Kellie, Roger, Joey, Rachel, Amy and Jeremy and 20 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; 2 sisters, Betty Pullen and Ethel Pullen; and 4 brothers, Ed Parker, Jim Parker, Boyd Parker and Billy Parker.
A memorial will take place Saturday evening, December 19, 2015, from 5 – 7 p.m. at the Edwards Funeral Home in Doniphan.
