Burley Eudine Elliott, 76, of Doniphan, Missouri, died Monday, July 18, 2011, at his residence.
Mr. Elliott, son of Burlie Monroe and Liddie (Remer) Elliott, was born July 19, 1934, in Hoxie, Arkansas. He was a tool and die maker. Mr. Elliott enjoyed riding around on his farm and had been a Mason. He was a veteran of the U.S. Marines and had served in Korea.
On June 6, 1975, he was married to Susan Landeweer at Oak Grove Church in Doniphan. She survives.
Also surviving are four sons; Dennis Ray Elliott and Gregory Dean Elliott, both of Columbia, Missouri, Michael Louis Elliott of Marion, Iowa, and Dennis Jerrel of Anna, Illinois; two daughters, Patricia Ann Camp of Magness, Arkansas, and Kelli Jean Harris of Doniphan; eighteen grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; and four sisters.
He was preceded in death by his parents, four sisters and one brother.
Visitation for Mr. Elliott will take place Friday morning, July 22, 2011, at 10:00 a.m. at the Edwards Funeral in Doniphan with the funeral service to follow at 11:00 a.m.
