Corby Dronald Kernodle, 86, of Frenchtown Township, Monroe County, Michigan, died Sunday, January 10, 2016, at the Promedica Monroe Regional Hospital in Monroe City, Michigan. He was born and raised in rural Gatewood, Missouri.
Mr. Kernodle, son of the late Corby and Laura (Howard) Kernodle, was born August 26, 1929, in Gatewood and had been a welder with Rouge Steel Manufacturing.
He was married to Eulela Stout on May 30, 1950, and she preceded him in death.
Visitation will begin Saturday, January 16, 2016, at 11:00 a.m. at the Edwards Funeral Home in Doniphan. The funeral service will follow at 1:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel and burial will be in the Oak Ridge Cemetery with full military honors.
