I am so sorry for your trouble I knew Mary Lee in Misawa,Japan in the early 1980s and spent so much time together even living on the economy in a small house in the winter of 1980. There can never be anyone like her and her special knack for living life,I will miss her and always have.

I knew Marylee's mother, Big Mary before Marylee was born in Norfolk. Have been trying to locate her. Lost track after Mary passed away. Can some one contact me? sistersam@msn.com. I loved her family. We went thru thick and thin while stationed at NAS NORVA.

Henry,
I am so sorry for your loss. Marylee will be greatly missed. I am saddened that I did not get to spend more time with her. One of my earliest childhood memories is spending time with Marylee and my sister Leanna playing tag. I think I was 7 years old, Marylee was 5 and Leanna 3. We had some great times. I will not be able to attend the services. Please know that I am lifting you in prayer.

Mary was a Veteran friend for many years. We were acquainted through the VA. She was always such a caring person and loved her family and helping her parents so much. I will always remember her.

I was shocked to hear of Mary Lee's passing. She and her parents were a big part of our lives when Dwayne and I moved to Pine in the late 1980's. Going to Mary's Café was so reminiscent of my younger years. The café was not only a great place to meet with our neighbors, but was our local news station. I know it was hard on Mary Lee when her mom passed, but I always admired the way she stayed faithful to serving the community with just her dad, and finally, for a while alone.
Having lost Mary Lee is like losing an icon for the Briar/Pine/Bardley communities. I know she will be terribly missed and another hole will be in the hearts of many of us who enjoyed great food, fun and 'entertainment' at Mary's Café.

My deepest sympathy for your loss. I met Mary when she lived in Massachusetts. We both worked at Mars Department Store. She was a wonderful, kind , and hard worrking person. Mary was also a great friend. We kept in contact for a time when she returned to Briar to help her parents with the cafe, but life has a tendency of getting in the way of those who live far apart. I am deeply saddened to learn of her passing.

I haven't seen Mary in many years , but reminisce about the innocent years of our childhood . I remember talking and playing at recess with Mary and our other friends .
