Dwayne Alan Hill Sr., 62, of Advance, Missouri, died April 19, 2016, in Doniphan, Missouri, at Southeast Health Center of Ripley County.
Mr. Hill, son of Murle M. and Lily Pearl (Hale) Hill, was born December 30, 1953, in Cape Girardeau, Missouri. Dwayne was a professional truck driver for many years working for WW Transport, Exide Batteries, P-Jax and Heartland Express. His hobbies included fishing and playing bass guitar and looking for bargains at yard sales.
Surviving are 3 sons: Aaron Jacob Hill, Austin Alan Hill, and Anthony Wayne Hill of Ashland, Virginia; 1 daughter, Carrie Pierce of Olathe, Kansas; 2 grandchildren, Dylan and Korbyn Hill of Cape Giraradeau; 2 brothers, Loyd Tipsword and wife Arlene of Scott City, Missouri, and Kenneth M. Hill of Elkville, Illinois; and 2 sisters, Arvilla Hout and husband Larry of Andalusia, Illinois, and Malissa Miller and husband David of Herrin, Illinois.
He was preceded in death by his parents; 2 brothers, Murle “Mack” Hill, Jr., and Stephen Dean Hill; and 2 sons, Dwayne “Alan” Hill, Jr., and John Daniel Hill.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, May 14, 2016, at Ashland Church of God, 407 Myrtle Street, Ashland, Virginia 23005.
