Sheila Lynn Carpenter, 56, of Sikeston, Missouri, died Saturday, July 23, 2016, at St. Louis University Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri.
Ms. Carpenter, daughter of W. E. and Anna L. Carpenter, was born April 26, 1960, in Dayton, Ohio. Sheila loved spending time with family and friends and enjoyed family gatherings and spending time on Current River.
Surviving are her husband, Robert Smith of Sikeston, MO; 1 sister, Rhonda Venable of Poplar Bluff, MO; and 1 brother, Dennis Carpenter of Doniphan, MO.
Visitation will begin Saturday morning, July 30, 2016, at 10:00 a.m. in the Edwards Funeral Home and the funeral service will follow at noon in the funeral home chapel. Burial will be in the Bellview Cemetery.
