Eula Fay Darnell, 79, of Doniphan, Missouri, departed this life Tuesday, September 27, 2016, at Southeast Health Center of Ripley County in Doniphan.
Mrs. Darnell, daughter of Oirson and Virdie (Jones) McKinney, was born February 23, 1937, in Doniphan. She had been a certified nursing assistant and had worked in a nursing home. One of Mrs. Darnell’s favorite activities was playing Bingo. She was a member of the First Assembly of God Church.
On March 26, 1969, she was married to Cecil Darnell in St. Louis. He preceded her in death on October 25, 2013.
Surviving are 3 children: Lena Faye Dees of Early, Texas, Theo Ralph Bellamy of Brownwood, Texas, and Marcella Diane Smyth of Coral Springs, Florida; 2 step-children, Dale (and Barbara) Darnell of Neodesha, Kansas, and Barbara (and Donald) Lampstin of Piedmont, Missouri; 2 sisters, Norma Dudley of Doniphan and Thelma Brown of Mountain View, Missouri; 2 brothers, Mansel McKinney and Lindle McKinney; 3 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; 1 sister, Lois Little; and 1 brother, John Henry McKinney.
Visitation will be Monday, October 3, 2016 beginning at 10:00 A.M. at the Edwards Funeral Home Chapel with the Funeral Service to follow at Noon.
Burial will be in the Pratt Cemetery.
