Bob Wayne Christian, 68, of Doniphan, Missouri, died Thursday, October 6, 2016, at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center in Poplar Bluff, Missouri.
Mr. Christian, son of Rex and Bernice (Allen) Christian, was born October 18, 1947, in Poplar Bluff. He was retired from Missouri Department of Transportation, Doniphan district. Mr. Christian enjoyed hunting, fishing, woodworking, working with his Kubota tractor and spending time with his grandchildren. He was a member of the Handy Church and the Missouri National Guard.
On December 22, 1979, he was married to Sharon Riley in Doniphan and she survives.
Also surviving are 3 sons: Travis (Natasha) Christian of Doniphan, Jason (Judy) Christian of Springfield, Missouri, and Rex Lane Christian of Mountain Home, Arkansas; 3 sisters, Georgia Hall, Sarah Christian and Sue Christian, all of Doniphan; and 10 grandchildren, Connor, Bryce, Brock, Pyper, Austin, Lucas, Jayden, Brittany, A’dja, and Kassidey.
He was preceded in death by his parents and 2 sisters, Peggy Christian and Helen Henson Daughenbaugh.
Visitation will be Monday October 10 from noon till 2pm. Funeral services will be 2 pm Monday.
