George Franklin Payne, 83, of Farmington, Missouri formerly of Doniphan, departed this life Thursday, January 5, 2017, at Community Manor in Farmington.
Mr. Payne, son of the late Frankie & Edna (Sullivan) Payne, was born December 27, 1933, in Ripley County. He worked in the sawmill industry. Mr. Payne enjoyed hunting, fishing and playing checkers.
He is survived by four sisters, Chloe Looney of Cushing, OK, Betty Johnson of Bismarck, MO, Stella Payne & Jo Ann Striebeck both of Poplar Bluff, MO
He was also preceded in death by one brother Elice Austin Payne and one sister Pauline Payne.
Visitation will begin January 9 at 10 am at Edwards Funeral Home in Doniphan with Graveside services at noon at Oak Grove Cemetery in Doniphan.
