Obituary of Brenda Gail Hubbard Henson

Brenda Gail (Hubbard) Henson, 57, a life-long resident of Briar, Missouri, departed this life Sunday, March 12, 2017, at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center in Poplar Bluff, Missouri. Brenda, daughter of Joe and Reva (Snodgrass) Hubbard, was born September 3, 1959, in Doniphan, Missouri. She had worked in healthcare and at the Doniphan Nutrition Center. Brenda loved gardening, fishing and doing computer work and she was a loyal member of the Briar Community. She was an avid animal lover and enjoyed puppies, cats, horses, cockatiels and raising Pomeranians. Brenda was married to Fred Henson on October 4, 1991, at the Oak Ridge Church of God and they enjoyed 25 years together. He survives. Also surviving are 1 sister, Kay (and John) Hudson of Doniphan, 2 brothers, Ronnie Hubbard and Lyndal (and Ginny) Hubbard, both of Briar; several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and 1 sister, Donna (Hubbard) Lendermann. Visitation will begin Wednesday, March 15, 2017, at 10:00 a.m. at the Edwards Funeral Home in Doniphan. The funeral service will follow at noon in the funeral home chapel with Brother Larry Earl officiating. Burial will be in the Briar Oak Ridge Cemetery.
