Linda Faye Sisco Garren, of Doniphan, Missouri, departed this life April 3, 2017, surrounded by her family at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center in Poplar Bluff, Missouri.
She is survived by her husband Orvel (Pete) Garren of the home; four children: Cindi (Charles) Burgard and Curtis Jr. (Victoria) Hipps, both of Gatewood, Missouri, Leona Hipps of Doniphan and Savannah Garren of Alton, Missouri; eight grandchildren Rachel (Tom) Wiggs, Vanessa (Jason) Simmons, Jessica Putman, Daune (Jimmy) Jackson, Tina (BJ) Sorrell, Gail (Juan) Zuluaga, Megan (Davey) Samples and Johnathon Hipps; three siblings Charles (Bud) Sisco and Hazel Conn of Doniphan and Beulah McKnight of Benton, Missouri; 24 great-grandchildren and several close family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles Fred Sisco and Rhoda Luecinda (Wilder) Sisco and six siblings Bertha Aaron, Juanita Elliot, Eddie Sisco, Edna Maxwell, Ray Sisco and Johnny Sisco.
She loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. Her hobbies included baking, sewing and crocheting. She was a member of the Ponder Booster Club and attended the Current River Baptist Church before her health prevented it.
A graveside service will be held Saturday, April 8, 2017, at 11:00 a.m. at the Union Cemetery in Ponder, Missouri. Brother Danny Sisco will officiate.
