Obituary of Alice Faye Distefano

Alice Faye Distefano, 65, of Poplar Bluff, Missouri, died Wednesday, April 26, 2017, at St. Louis University Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri.

Ms. Distefano, daughter of Hurlen Lem and Letha Mae Wilson, was born January 16, 1952, in St. Louis.  She was a teachers’ aide and enjoyed crocheting, drawin, and helping people in need.  Ms. Distefano attended First Assembly of God Church.

Surviving are 3 children:  Peter (and Chrystal) Distefano of Doniphan, Missouri, John Distefano of Poplar Bluff and Becky Distefano of Springfield, Missouri; 1 sister, Evelyn Tolar of Ash Flat, Arkansas; 1 brother,  Ray Wilson of St. Louis; and 4 grandchildren, Ryan, Jade, Jasmine and Haley.

She was preceded in death by her parents; 1 sister, Gloria Wilson; and 1 brother, Lyndall Wade Wilson.

Visitation will be held from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. Monday, May 1, 2017, at the Edwards Funeral Home in Doniphan.
