Obituary of Judy` Elizabeth Pinkston

Judy Elizabeth Pinkston, 71 year old resident of Doniphan, MO departed this life Friday, May 5, 2017 at the Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center.  Mrs. Pinkston was born August 14, 1945 in Cooter, MO to the late Jacob and Inez Maness Siegler.  She was a military housewife who loved her grandbabies’, playing bingo, her rose and cactus garden, painting, taking vacations, and music.  Judy was a member of the VFW Post 4385 Ladies’ Auxiliary and the Ripley County Republican Party.

 

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by 1 sister, Mae Siegler; and 4 brothers, Jesse, Bobby, Gerald, and Harold Siegler.

 

On May 17, 1963, in Malden, MO she was married to Virgil Pinkston, who survives.  Also surviving are1 daughter, Sarah Dawes of Doniphan, MO; 3 sons, Danny Pinkston of Doniphan, MO; Joe Pinkston of Lexington, TN; Kavin Pinkston of Doniphan, MO; 2 sisters, Sarah Holt of Tulsa, OK; Betty McGee of Lexington, TN; 1 brother, David Siegler of Doniphan, MO; 5 grandchildren, Jacob; Joseph; Brandi; Steven; Riley; and several Great- Grandchildren.

 

Funeral Services for Mrs. Pinkston will be held Tuesday, May 9, 2017 at 2:00 P.M. in the Edwards Funeral Home Chapel with Alan Harlan officiating.  Burial will follow in the Cotton Creek Cemetery near Couch, MO.  Visiting will be held Monday evening, May 8, 2017 in the Edwards Funeral Home Chapel from 5-8 P.M.
