Obituary of Charles Edwards Lee

Charles Edward Lee, 90, of Poplar Bluff, MO died Saturday July 8, 2017 at Dexter Living Center in Dexter, MO.
 
Mr. Lee son of the late Charles Edward Sr. and Claire (Wright) Lee he was born Tuesday March 19, 1927 in Doniphan, MO.  He was a self-employed Merchant.  Mr. Lee loved his country, having served in the U.S. Navy during World War II.  He was a member of the Doniphan Methodist Church and was an avid life time St. Louis Cardinals fan. 
 
On August 23, 1952, he was married to Roberta “Janie” Lee in Pocahontas, AR.  She preceded him in death..
 
Surviving are two sons: Chuck (Amy) Lee  & Rob Lee both of Poplar Bluff; one daughter Linda Lee (Larry Forrest) of Columbia; 2 grandchildren Christopher & Charles; and four great-grandchildren Ava, Olivia, Elizabeth, & Charles.
 
A graveside service will be Monday July 10, 2017 at 1 PM at Doniphan City Cemetery with Pastor Kent Wilfong officiating.  Burial will be in Doniphan City Cemetery in Doniphan.
