Obituary of Shane Tipton

Dennis Shane Tipton, 41, of Doniphan, Missouri, died Friday, September 15, 2017, in Robinsonville, Mississippi.

Mr. Tipton, son of Dennis and Brenda June (Ryan) Tipton, was born October 8, 1975, in Poplar Bluff, Missouri.  He was a car dealer.  Shane enjoyed hunting, fishing, going to auctions and was a collector of various items, especially die-cast cars.  He also liked to go to casinos and play in poker tournaments.  Shane was a major sports fan and was always looking for a good deal.

Surviving are his mother, Brenda Tipton of Doniphan; 3 special nephews whom he considered his sons, Trever, Skyler and Remington; his sister, Denise Tipton of Doniphan; his dog, Samson; and many friends and other family members.

He was preceded in death by his father, Dennis Tipton; paternal grandparents, Letch and Lillian Tipton and maternal grandparents, Acel and Betty Ryan; and several uncles and aunts.

Visitation will be held Wednesday evening, September 20, 2017, from 5 – 8 p.m.  at the Edwards Funeral Home in Doniphan.  The funeral service will begin at 10:00 a.m. Thursday morning, September 21, 2017, at the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow in the Good Hope Cemetery near Grandin, Missouri.
