Obituary of Lena Irene Creason

Lena Irene Creason, 99, of Gatewood, Missouri, died Sunday, September 24, 2017, at her residence in rural Ripley County.

Mrs. Creason, daughter of Benjamin Harrison and Audra (Hogue) Linn, was born December 10, 1917, in Gatewood.  She had been a pharmacy technician.  Mrs. Creason enjoyed quilting, crocheting, traveling and cooking and was a member of the Warm Springs Freewill Baptist Church.

She was married to Raymond Creason in Pocahontas, Arkansas, on July 22, 1934, and he preceded her in death on April 10, 1994.

She was also preceded in death by her parents; 4 sisters, Thelma Lasater, Shirley Johnson, Dora Doherty and Nora Brown; and 1 brother, Marvin Linn.

She leaves behind many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and many other friends and loved ones.

Visitation will begin at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday morning, September 27, 2017, at the Edwards Funeral Home in Doniphan.  The funeral service will follow at 1:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Brothers Wayne Cloven and James Ray officiating.  Burial will be in the Warm Springs Cemetery in Warm Springs, Arkansas.
