Shelby Jean Hitt, 76, of Doniphan, Missouri, died Friday, October 27, 2017, at her residence.
Ms. Hitt, daughter of James Miller and Zella (Adams) Hitt, was born November 25, 1940 in Manilla, Arkansas. She had been a server in the restaurant industry.
Surviving are 3 brothers: Larry Hitt of Doniphan, James Hitt of Bristol, Tennessee, and Ricky Hitt of Spiro, Oklahoma; and 3 grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; 3 children; 1 sister; and 1 brother.
Visitation will begin at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 31, 2017, at the Edwards Funeral Home in Doniphan. The funeral service will follow at 2:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Burial will be in the Pine Cemetery.
