Obituary of Tanner Levi Guthrie
Tanner Levi Guthrie, 19, of Doniphan, Missouri, departed this life Monday, May 14, 2018, at Southeast Health of Ripley County in Doniphan.
Mr. Guthrie, son of Kevin and Phyllis (Moore) Guthrie, was born December 16, 1998, in Poplar Bluff, Missouri. He was a self-employed photographer. Tanner enjoyed photography, videography, being outdoors, fishing, helping his friends and spending time with his family. He was instrumental in the broadcast of the video livestream of Doniphan High School ballgames and won multiple awards through the media department in Skills, USA. Tanner attended His Place Church and his faith was in Jesus Christ.
Surviving are his parents, Kevin and Phyllis Guthrie of Doniphan; 1 brother, Joshua (Danielle) Guthrie of Brooklyn, New York; maternal grandmother, Wanda Moore of Doniphan; paternal grandparents, David and Phyllis Guthrie of Naylor, Missouri; aunts and uncles, Doris (Fred) Colley, Rob (Becky) Moore, Bernice Paukner, Rick (Donna) Moore, Fred (Heidi) Moore, Kathy Moore, Mike Moore, Lydia (James) Sexton, Marilyn (Jody) Webb, Dan Moore, Rebecca (Todd) Tiedemann and Jeff (Jama) Guthrie. Tanner is also survived by numerous cousins, other family members and many friends.
He was preceded in death by aunt Kristy Henson and uncle Duane Moore.
Visitation will be held Thursday evening, May 17, 2018, from 5 - 8 p.m. at His Place Church. A Celebration of Life will take place Friday, May 18, 2018, at noon at the church with Josh Guthrie officiating. Burial will follow in Hunt-White Cemetery in Doniphan.
