Obituary of Guy Wayne Steele

Guy Wayne Steele, 64-year-old resident of Doniphan, MO departed this life Friday, July 27, 2018 at his residence.  Mr. Steele was born May 26, 1954 in Doniphan, MO and had been a lifelong resident of Ripley County.  He was a self-employed logger, and loved the timber business, his grandchildren, hunting, and fishing.  He truly enjoyed spending time in Lusk, Wyoming, enjoyed racing, and going to Colorado.

He was preceded in death by his father, Guy Nelson Steele.

He is survived by his wife of 31 years, Linda Griffin Steele; his mother, Pauline Steele of Doniphan, MO; Children, Wayne Curtis (Jessica) Steele of Wentzville, MO; JoAnn (Mike) Carson of Piedmont, MO; Marilyn (Bryan) Hart of Doniphan, MO; Jarred (Sherilyn) Farris of Doniphan, MO; Brothers, George (Mary Jo) Steele of Fredricktown, MO; Ray (Janis) Steele of Scottsville, KY; Gene (Sonya) Steele of Doniphan, MO; Glenn (Meshelle) Steele of Santa Fe, TN; Brian (Michelle) Steele of Sturgis, KY; Grandchildren, Dylan, Caiden, Kylee, Clay, Jacob, Maddie, Cassey, Hunter, Chloe, Briar, Clara; Great-Grandchildren Amia, Heath, Emmitt, Eli;  Also surviving are several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held at 1:00 PM Monday, July 30, 2018 at the Brooks Cemetery with Bro. Randy Whiteside officiating.
