Emery Lee Boykin, 93 year old resident of Doniphan, MO departed this life Thursday, September 20, 2018 at his residence.  Mr. Boykin was born June 8, 1925 in Illinois, and was an electrician for Martin-Marietta in Colorado.

He had served in the US Army during WWII and was a member of the Grandin Full Gospel Holiness Church in Grandin, MO.

He was preceded in death by 2 sons, John and Rick Boykin.

In 1990, he was married to Donna Sue Boyt, who survives.

Also surviving are 2 daughters, Pat Robertson of Burneyville, OK; Judy Pelk of Apple Valley, CA; Step-children, Charles Boyt of Montana; Billy Rea of Bloomfield, MO; Centhia Gresham of Doniphan, MO; 14 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and 9 great-great grandchildren.

 

Funeral services for Mr. Boykin will be held at 1:00 PM Sunday, September 23, 2018 at the Edwards Funeral Home Chapel with Kevin Slayton and Randy Robinson officiating.  Visiting will begin at 11:00 AM Sunday.  Burial with full military honors will be in the Good Hope Cemetery.
