Obituary of Beverly Ann Braschler

Beverly Ann Garner Braschler, 69, of Doniphan, peacefully passed from this life at home, surrounded by her family, at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, November 5, 2018. 

She was born on May 12, 1949, in Russellville, Kentucky, the eldest daughter of Charles Garner (deceased) and Dorothy Garner Hines.  She graduated from Russellville High School in 1967, Murray State University (BSE in Home Economics) in 1971, and Southeast Missouri State University (MS in Counseling) in 1976. 

On November 24, 1973, she married John Dennis Braschler of Doniphan. They have two children,  Dustin (Amy) Braschler of Doniphan, and Breann (James) Fish of Doniphan. 

She is survived by her mother, husband, both of her children, three grandchildren (Audrey Braschler, Lawton Fish, and Alden Fish), two sisters (Brenda Hawkins (Bryan) of Tupelo, MS, and Twila Reynolds of Columbus, OH), along with numerous extended family members.  Mrs. Braschler taught Family & Consumer Sciences in Kennett, MO from 1971 – 1976 and in the Doniphan R-I School District from 1976 – 2001.  She had a strong faith, a passion for teaching, and a true love for her family and students. She was a longtime member of the First Church of God in Doniphan. 

Visitation will be Wednesday, November 7, 5:00 – 8:00 pm at the First Church of God in Doniphan, MO.  Services for Mrs. Braschler will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, November 8, 2018 at the First Church of God in Doniphan, MO.  Burial will be in the Pratt Cemetery. 

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the First Church of God (Operation Christmas Child) in Doniphan.
