I am very sorry for your loss. My heart goes out to you in this difficult time. I hope you may find comfort at Revelation 21:4, “And he (God) will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.” We can look forward to the time when God will take away all reasons for distress and he even gives us a hope of a resurrection. (Acts 24:15) I hope this promise brings you comfort as it does me.

Stan was just a great guy and a best friend, he always thought of others first. He helped me out around my place doing chores I couldn't do. He will surely be missed by all who knew him.

To the Cook family, we are so sorry for your loss and heartache. Stan was such a down to earth guy. He was compassionate and understanding. He could grill a mean BBQ sauce filled burger, that I have yet to recreate! He provided great advice and the type of person who never judged but instead tried to put himself in your shoes when giving advice. Stan, you will be missed dearly but your name and spirit will carry on through everyone who knew you especially Lora, the kids and grandchildren. Love to you all.

I didnt know Stan as well as other people did. I knew him though my husband Stephen and our friend Brian aka "Cook" anytime I would see him he was always so nice. Anyone that knew him loved him. I remember I was at the carwash and my car wouldn't start. The battery was dead and Stephen had the little ones but I had the car seats so he couldnt come help. I think Cook was at the house and one of them called Stan to see if he could come help me and he of course was there within 5 mins. I remember the alarm started going off as soon as he started messing with the battery and it scared that crap out of both of us lol. I am so glad to say that I knew him. He will be missed by so many. He was liked and loved by more people than he probably even realized. Lora we love you and your family. You all are in are thoughts and prayers. If there is anything we can do to help, anything at all please know we are here for you. We love you all!

I loved Stan. He never made me feel like I was a son-in-law, but rather like a son. He loved his family and friends with all his heart, and would do anything for anyone. He worked hard all his life and never put his needs above that of his family. I have so many good memories of him. Like the time him and Kenzie were sliding on their bellies across the floor at our house just laughing and having fun. Thats just the kind of pawpaw he was. The thing I admire the most about this great man, was his love and affinity for the simple things of life. He loved a hot fire on a cold night, he loved to sit on a balcony in Destin and feel the warm breeze and hear the waves crash against the shore, he loved to mow his grass, or in the fall his leaves, he loved to smoke some meat or grill burgers. Stan you will forever be missed, but you will forever be loved.

Stan was like a second dad a brother and a best friend all rolled into one. I knew that anytime I needed him that he would be there for me. He always made me feel welcome at his house and loved to bbq and was good at it. I loved that ole boy he was one of the best and my heart aches to think that he will never again give me that half smile and say "oh come on man" He was quite a guy and there will never be another one to fill his shoes. I love you Cook family more than words can say. I am always here for you.
