Arley W. Cornman
Arley William Cornman, of Doniphan, Missouri, died Wednesday, July 11, 2007, at the Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center.
Mr. Cornman was born August 16, 1935, at Peach Orchard, Missouri. He was a carpenter and gunsmith and was of the Baptist faith. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and served during the Korean Conflict. Mr. Cornman loved to hunt and fish and especially enjoyed being with his grandchild.
On November 28, 1969, he was married to Shirley Epperson at Caseyville, Illinois. She survives.
Also surviving are two daughters, Sonja (and Keith) Hudgens of Bethalto, Illinois, and Dana (and Jerry) Dobbs of Doniphan; two sons, Randy Cornman of New York and David Cornman of Granite City, Illinois; five sisters, Doris (and Bill) Wilson of Vienna, Missouri, Dorlis (and Ralph) Matthews, Laura (and Harold) Jackson, and Linda (and Jessie) Stanfield, all of Doniphan, Hazel Laws of Portageville, Cathy (and Bill) LaFerney of Malden and Debbie (and Harold) Eaves of Kennett; three brothers, Bob (and Sharon) Cornman of Wentzville, Jim (and Carolyn) Cornman of Malden and Rickey (and Shirley) Cornman of Clarkton; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Noah Arley Cornman and Juanita Elizabeth Crider Cornman.
Visitation will be Friday, July 13, 2007, at 1:00 p.m. at the Edwards Funeral Home in Doniphan. The funeral service will follow at 3:00 p.m. with Brother Jim Cornman officiating. Burial will be in the Good Hope Cemetery.
