Obituary of Christine Hallam Skipper

Christine Hallam Skipper died April 15, 2019.

Christine was born in Ripley County, MO to the late Arthur and Clytie Brooks on August 13, 1936.  She was the beloved wife of the late Bill Hallam. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Paul Jones, Pete Brooks and Bill Brooks.  Also, her brothers - in - law, Tom Hallam and Bob Hallam and sister-in-law, Barb Whitney.

Chris is survived by her husband, Gilbert Skipper of Doniphan, MO; daughter, Dana Hallam; son, Dave (Ginger) Hallam; stepchildren, Douglas Skipper, Sherri (Chuck) Goforth and Jill Skipper Smith; her grandchildren, Christina, Carl (Natasha), Matt (Bree) and Eric (Maggie); and Great grandchildren, Samantha, Logan, Brock and Hailey.  She is also survived by brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, many nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.

Visitation will begin at 2:00 p.m. Sunday afternoon, May 26, 2019, at the Edwards Funeral Home in Doniphan.  A Memorial service will follow at 3:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Brother Larry Bashaw officiating.  Interment will then follow at Doniphan City Cemetery.
