Doris B. Shane, 83, of Doniphan, Missouri departed this life Wednesday, May 15, 2019 at the Current River Nursing Center in Doniphan. Mrs. Shane was born to Delbert and Ella (Jones) Boykin in Jefferson County, Illinois on December 22, 1935.

Doris was a housekeeper for motels and enjoyed fishing, gardening, and her flowers. She was an active member of Grandin Full Gospel Holiness, and she was a Sunday School Secretary.

On March 8, 1952 she married Earl Shane in Mount Vernon, Illinois. He survives.

Also surviving are her son, Jim Shane of Rifle, Colorado; a sister-in-law, Donna Boykin; one grandson, Jason Shane; two great granddaughters, and one great grandson.

Mrs. Shane was preceded in death by her brothers, Lawrence, Emery, and Bill Boykin and an infant brother and sister.

A graveside service for Mrs. Shane will be held Saturday, May 18. 2019 at 10 a.m. at the Macedonia Cemetery.
