Obituary of Shelley Stark Rupp

Shelley Stark Rupp, 38-year-old resident of Poplar Bluff, MO and former resident of Doniphan, MO departed this life Monday, February 17, 2020 at the Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center. Shelley was born June 12, 1981 in Elkhart, Indiana to Bobby Joe Stark and Rosemary Lynn Smith. Before her health kept her from working, she was a CNA, and loved taking care of others, particularly her time working at the Colonial Home. She loved spending time with her family and taking care of her boys. She was truly a selfless person with others always coming first. Shelley enjoyed cooking, especially lasagna. She was a member of the Emmanuel Baptist Church in Doniphan. She was preceded in death by one brother Robert Stark. On May 26, 2001, in Doniphan, she was married to Frank Rupp, who survives. Also surviving are three sons, Dawson, Kameron, and Brendon Rupp, all of Poplar Bluff, MO; her father and step-mother Bobby and Pam Stark of Doniphan; her mother Rosemary Stark of Elkhart, IN; two sisters, Elizabeth Stark of Poplar Bluff, MO; Melissa Ferguson, of Doniphan; one brother Shannon Stark of Wakurasa, IN; and numerous nieces and nephews, other family and friends. Funeral services for Shelley Stark Rupp will be held Saturday, February 22, 2020 at 3:00 PM in the Edwards Funeral Home Chapel. Visiting will begin at 1:00 PM on Saturday and burial will be in the Doniphan Cemetery.
