Obituary of Patricia Ann Davis

Patricia Ann Davis, 71, of Poplar Bluff, MO, gained her heavenly angel wings Wednesday, February 26, 2020. She was born February 21, 1949 in Poplar Bluff to the late Wilburt and Myrtle (Johnson) Wood. Mrs. Davis had worked at Northwest Medical Center doing medical coding and billing. She attended Westside Church of God. Patricia enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her husband, children and grandchildren. She also liked to go fishing. Other favorites include cooking delicious meals for her family and going to the movies. On June 7, 1986, Patricia married Kenneth Davis at Westside Church of God in Poplar Bluff. He survives. Also surviving are her children, Dawn Wahby, Jason ( Kelly) Owens, and Rebecca (Rodney) Simpson, all of Poplar Bluff, and Jennifer (Steve) Voss of High Ridge, MO; her sister, Sharon Burpo of Poplar Bluff; and her brother, Ronald Wood of Phoenix, AZ; as well as 13 grandchildren, one great-grandchild, and numerous nieces and nephews, and her dearest and longest friend, Suzi Morris. Patricia was preceded in death by her sisters, Betty Moore and Jane Johnson, and her brothers, Mackie and James Joseph Wood. A celebration of life will be held Saturday, March 7, 2020 at 10:30 a.m. at Westside Church of God with Pastor Jason Jordan officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her name to Westside Church of God.
