Jeannie Lee Hunter, of Doniphan, MO, departed this life Monday, March 2, 2020 at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center in Poplar Bluff, MO. She was 46. Jeannie was born August 14, 1973 in Silvis, IL to John and JoAnn (Beale) Hunter. Both parents preceded her in death. Jeannie had an older brother, William Hunter, who also preceded her in death.
After her mother passed, Jeannie then moved to Doniphan where she lived and was cared for by her uncle and aunt, Laverne.and Debbie Beale. Later Jeannie became a resident at Current River Nursing Center, where she became part of their family.
Jeannie enjoyed swimming, playing basketball, riding horses, riding her electric bike, and eating McDonald's cheeseburgers. Jeannie was loved and touched the lives of many. She will be greatly missed.
Surviving are an uncle, Dewayne (Joanna) Beale; and aunt, Terri (David) Beale Webb of Moline, IL.
Visitation will be Wednesday, March 4, 2020 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. in the Edwards Funeral Home Chapel.
