We were deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Mr. Ripley. He taught both of us band and fundamentals of music.....I thought it was funny that the band class played all the music that the fundamental class had to answer on the tests.....Janet made perfect scores in her class. Paul was instrumental no pun intended on getting my life on the right track as he was a military man and everyone respected him. He was a great individual and will be missed by all Doniphanites as well as others that he touched wherever he went. We will miss you Mr. Ripley, godspeed.

Mr. Ripley was both a Doniphan icon as well as a treasure. He was a person of integrity coupled with a dedication to help others. His laughter and effervescent personality was always forefront, helping to define the person he was. While the record may say that Mr. Ripley had no children, the true record is that he had generations of children he mentored. God Bless You Sir!
